SPACE PATROL UNIFORMS
SCROLL DOWN FOR ALL FOUR SPACE PATROL UNIFORMS FROM THE 1950S TV SHOW SPACE PATROL JACK NARZ UNIFORM Jack did the commercials for Wheat Chex and Rice Chex on the show. The uniform, in near mint coindition, even has it's original pin.
FROM WIKIPEDIA: In January 1958, Narz began hosting his own game show, presiding over CBS's Dotto. Within a very brief time, this show became as popular, with Dotto running five days a week on CBS and, beginning in the summer of 1958, weekly in prime time on NBC. Dotto was later part of the quiz show scandals and was the first popular quiz show to be canceled as a result. $13,999 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THIS UNIFORM CONTACT US AT: Swapsale@aol.com --------------------------------------------------- FROM THE 1950S TV SHOW SPACE PATROL TONGA'S UNIFORM (SHE WORKED FOR ROBBY, CHIEF OF SECURITY)
Tonga (played by Nina Bara) first appeared on the
show as evil Lady of Diamonds. Once captured, she turned good, ultimately
becoming the assistant to Major Robby Robertson, Chief of Security. Bara
was discovered by the show's creator, Mike Moser, during lunch at the Brown
Derby who said the minute he saw her he knew she was perfect for the part.
Tonga's costume is the only one actually owned by a cast member. That's
because her mother actually sewed the costume. $12,999 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THIS UNIFORM CONTACT US AT: Swapsale@aol.com ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------- FROM THE 1950S TV SHOW SPACE PATROL CAROL'S UNIFORM (SHE WAS THE SECRETARY GENERAL OF THE UNITED PLANETS DAUGHTER
Carol, played by Virginia Hewitt, during a public appearance with Buzz Corry (Ed Kemmer) Now part of the Andy Andersen collection, Viginia Hewitt's costume is in the same condition that it was when she last wore it on the show. Wear is minimum. Colors are bright. There's no size on the garment. $12,999 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THIS UNIFORM CONTACT US AT: Swapsale@aol.com ---------------------------------------------------------------- FROM THE 1950S TV SHOW SPACE PATROL CADET HAPPY'S UNIFORM PLUS BUZZ CORRY'S PANTS
This item is simply beautiful. It's in the same condition it was the day the show ended in 1955. There's a couple miner repairs on the seams and the chest crest has been replaced (it's a dead on copy) but that's it. The colors are bright (brighter than shown here) and, more to the point, it's the most prized item you could possibly get from the TV show since Happy (Lynn Osborn) was the show's second lead, eclipsed only by Buzz Corry (Ed Kemmer) whose Space Patrol uniform was lost many years ago. (The Buzz Corry pants we're offering -- see below -- are the ones he wore for personal appearances.) As for the bidding starting at $15,000 -- Ken (Robby Robertson) Mayer's jacket -- just his jacket -- recently went for $16,700. And he was just a supporting player.
ED KEMMERS PANTS:
SPACE PATROL: CADET HAPPY'S UNIFORM, actually worn on the show! Here's what Andy says about the uniform: "It is in overall very good condition. It has repairs under the right shoulder and under the left leg. Also a frayed cuff (right side). It has original McIntosh label with [Lynn] Osborn's name written in ink. The pair of Buzz Corry's pants was part of the uniform used for personal appearances." $10,999 IF YOU WOULD LIKE TO PURCHASE THIS UNIFORM CONTACT US AT: Swapsale@aol.com (NOTED AUCTION HOUSE PROFILES IN HISTORY HAS ESTIMATED THE VALUE OF HAPPY'S UNIFORM TO BE BETWEEN $25,000 TO $35,000) FOR MORE SPACE PATROL INFO AND PIX CLICK HERE FOR MORE LYN OSBORN INFO AND PIX CLICK HERE ----------------------------------------------------------------------------
