SPACE PATROL
A Review With Commentary of the Episodes from Swapsale

by Clyde "Space Patroller Laser" Lyman: 26 December, 2003

Between January and November of 2003, I viewed the 32 available VHS "Lost episodes" and two of the Gold Editions tapes from Swapsale.  This is my review. It is rather long as I am dealing with over 100 episodes and wish to be concise, thorough, fair and honest, to give as accurate an image of something (about a half-century old) as I can. It is more over-arching than specific as I have not the time, will, nor space to write, nor do you have the time to read, an episode by episode account of over 100 stories. You just need to know what you're buying-- and buying into. For that, you need to know about the time period, production values and what it was about. From those you can tell what to expect. Whether it will be to your liking is up to you.

You can read these pages one of two ways; by reading them one at a time and returning to this page when you are finished, or page-by-page.
