Master model maker Herb Deeks met 95-year old film legend Herman Brix (also known as Bruce Bennett) at Beverly Garland's Holliday Inn in North Hollywood this October 6th 2001 during their Collectors & Celebrities Show.  Deeks, who is known to visitors of this site for his incredible ability to recreate model planes and rocket ships from the past, was there to get Brix signature on his recreation of the the Lightning's Wing from Fighting Devil Dogs, a serial  Brix starred in.  The wing, which was known as the Spider's Wing when it was used in the Dick Tracy serial two years earlier, has been available for several years but we are just now offering it on our Swapsale site, sans signature of course.  Check out Herb's work at:  Models
