SEXY ROBOTS

http://duniaengineering.blogdetik.com/2009/01/16/japan-membuat-sex-robots/

SORAYAMA

Sorayama created his first robot illustration in 1978. It was a robot sitting on a rock. Along with a surfing robot, it  became a major turning point for Sorayama and this idea stream would soon gain momentum in designs around the world.

The term "Sexy Robot" describes the female robot forms covered with silver metal which Sorayama first created in 1979. Sorayama’s initial idea was to combine robots with eroticism. His first book "Sexy Robot" was published by Genko-sha in 1983. From then on, Sorayama’s robotic forms became increasingly famous worldwide.

I mean come on, how long have people been demanding their robots be sexier? It was just a matter of time. Something had to give. Think of all the protests and PAC’s you saw demanding “horny”, “stripper type”, “Sexbots”. It’s about damn time…

China Makes a Sexy, Slutty Robot

We were wondering when the first sexy robot was actually going to be sexy. What with the Karaoke android, the robot monkey, the Chinese beauty robot, and Korea's Ever-1 android all looking a might less than sexy, our hopes for a Human-Robot mating ritual were at an all time low. No longer!

SEE HER ON VIDEO

In what has to be the sexiest auto-erotic android make-out scene in music video history, director Chris Cunningham transforms Björk into a milky, plastic-fantastic fetishized robot for her single, All is Full of Love. The video is as stunning, disturbing, and original as it was when it debuted in 1998.

NEW YORK —  Behold the babe butler!

The unfortunately named Actroid, an eerily human-looking robot, will be the toast of the Wired NextFest high-tech convention, officially opening Friday at the Javits Center in New York City.

Actroid can't walk, but she can talk your ear off in an actual two-way conversation.

This photograph is the first in what will soon be a series of broken robot girl photographs created by fashion photographer Tamar Levine and art director/Photoshop master Rob Sheridan. Sheridan graciously took a few minutes out of his busy fembot-designing schedule to answer some questions about robot girls, sex, and technology. After that, I present a chronology of sexy robots -- some real, some imaginary, all disturbing in the manner of Freud's uncanny.

BATTLESTAR GALACTICA

Battlestar Galatica, atheism, monotheism and polytheism + sexy robots that believe in all of them

Any fans here, I really havent seen any sci fi where religion was so interestingly used.

You have good and evil atheists, monotheist and polytheist robots justfying just about everything in the name of their god.

You actually have some 'evidience' of the existance of a diety (this is fictional universe),  you have discussions on what is the nature of being human.

Oh did i mention there are sexy robots too!

Sex and marriage with robots? It could happen

By Charles Q. Choi
Special to LiveScience
updated 3:05 p.m. PT, Fri., Oct . 12, 2007

Humans could marry robots within the century. And consummate those vows.

"My forecast is that around 2050, the state of Massachusetts will be the first jurisdiction to legalize marriages with robots," artificial intelligence researcher David Levy at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands told LiveScience. Levy recently completed his Ph.D. work on the subject of human-robot relationships, covering many of the privileges and practices that generally come with marriage as well as outside of it.

At first, sex with robots might be considered geeky, "but once you have a story like 'I had sex with a robot, and it was great!' appear someplace like Cosmo magazine, I'd expect many people to jump on the bandwagon," Levy said.

Japanese Developing Sex Robots

What propels human innovation? Well, we know where the funding comes from. We know that funding comes when a Return on Investment is available. What do people spend money on? Well, think of Maslow’s hierarchy of needs. People want to maintain self preservation, so you will find the greatest technological money flows in those things, which protect the sanctity of life; things such as Health Care and Medical advances, security and military. People also wish respect from their fellow man. They want to look good; thus you will find consumer items such as make-up, clothing, sports cars, etc. Humans also want companionship and entertainment and so we see advances in movie special effects, computer games and now the Japanese are developing human female robots. Today they advertise them as maids, receptionists and servers. But in the true spirit of Kama Sutra, you can bet that those Japanese robotic engineers will soon be designing Blonde Hair Blue Eyed sex robots to serve their will.

These Japanese scientists have unveiled the most human-looking robot to date, well at least in the public domain. Secret research is being done now which looks towards the future to build robots so real they will fool humans, in other words they maybe sitting next to you and you would never even know it. The Japanese scientists call their new robot android Repliee Q1 Expo. She flutters her eyelids in normal human increments, looks like she is breathing and moves her hands just like a human would. This robot has over 42 actuators. But indeed, this is merely the first step in human type robotics.

Back in February we reported that Kim Jong-Hwan of the ITRC-Intelligent Robot Research Centre - controlled by explosive cranial implant from the Lizard Army's advance Earth base at French car manufacturer Renault - had developed software which would allow robots to acquire reasoning and emotions, plus a healthy machine sex drive.

Of course, we quite rightly then predicted that the resultant cyberCasanovas would force themselves on our wives and daughters, impregnating screaming human females with their vile seed so much the better to create a hideous hybrid race of servile, mop-bearing drones

After all, someone has to clear up after man-eating cyberloos have purged the streets of Aberdeen of the last urinating Scotsman who might put up a spirited, albeit somewhat drunken and ultimately futile, fight against the Rise of the Machines™

However, we had not considered the chilling possibility that the reptilian forces of darkness might also develop a predatory robominx designed to extract sperm from vulnerable men as part of the same terrifying breeding programme.

Robot employed as sex club tout

Robots can get away with things that humans cannot. In the Minami area of Osaka, for example, a humanoid robot dressed in a “sailor suit” high school uniform now works the street as a tout for an adult information center that navigates potential customers to local sex clubs. Humans in Osaka are prohibited by law from engaging in such nefarious activity.

Since 2005, Osaka law has banned sex club touts from soliciting business on the street. The law also applies to the staff of adult information centers, which guide customers to local establishments such as love hotels, fashion-health massage parlors, cabaret clubs and image clubs. There are 175 of these adult information centers in Osaka prefecture — more than in any other prefecture in Japan.

SEX WITH ROBOTS BY 2050

Sex not as exciting as it used to be? Getting turned on may be as easy as flicking a switch on your lifelike programmable robot.

Robots will make attractive companions capable of fulfilling us sexually and emotionally by 2050, thanks to advances in their appearance, senses, personalities and capacity to fall in love, says artificial intelligence expert David Levy.

"There is love and there is sex. Sex, I think, will happen much sooner," Levy told CTV.ca.

He figures it will take roughly 40 years for artificial intelligence to develop to the point where robots are fully capable of human interactions such as reading gestures, conversing, and even getting intimate.

Sex and the single robot

Scientists have made them walk and talk. There are even robots that can run. But a South Korean professor is poised to take their development several steps further, and give cybersex new meaning.

Kim Jong-Hwan, the director of the ITRC-Intelligent Robot Research Centre, has developed a series of artificial chromosomes that, he says, will allow robots to feel lusty, and could eventually lead to them reproducing. He says the software, which will be installed in a robot within the next three months, will give the machines the ability to feel, reason and desire.

Kim, a leading authority on technology and ethics of robotics, said: "Christians may not like it, but we must consider this the origin of an artificial species. Until now, most researchers in this field have focused only on the functionality of the machines, but we think in terms of the essence of the creatures." That "essence" is a computer code, which determines a robot's propensity to "feel" happy, sad, angry, sleepy, hungry or afraid. Kim says this software is modelled on human DNA, though equivalent to a single strand of genetic code rather than the complex double helix of a real chromosome.

AUTHOR OF LOVE AND SEX WITH ROBOTS ON VIDEO

David Levy’s book, Love + Sex with Robots gives us yet another affirmation of Gibson’s belief that cyberpunked living is already here. In Love + Sex with Robots, Levy combines research in artificial intelligence and robotics with a cultural analysis indicating that more and more people have stopped interacting in person - that they are more alone than ever before and can no longer manage the complexity that are human relationships. The answer? Buy your own sexy fembot! In the next 5 to 10 years, Levy posits we’ll have full-featured sexbots that will allow us to “love the one you’re with,” while 40 years later, we’ll have fembots that we can fall in love and have a relationship with!

SEX ROBOT DOLLS

I’m a big fan of technology and I’m all for anyone that’s pushing things into the future. Obviously, Japan has long had a great reputation as one of the most technologically advanced countries in the world, but it looks like South Korea may well be making a move on Nipponese turf.

Korean officials have gone public with a vision for domestic robot helpers in every home within the next 20 years. The SK government is already subsidizing robot projects like mad, and their latest triumph is the EveR-1. The robo hottie has full upper-body movement, and cameras in her eyes that allow her quality facial recognition and movement tracking. She can also handle general conversation, and her lips are synced perfectly to whatever she is saying. Her face can show emotion, like happiness, sadness, and anger. Best of all, her skin is made from silicon gel designed to feel like the real thing, and the Koreans are suggesting she’ll be the school teacher of the future.
