First up: STARLIGHT OVER TEXAS is the first Tex Ritter western from Monogram Pictures. Containing a mix of Ritter's trademark songs, the movie has a United States Marshall investigating Indian raids near the Mexican border. But the "Indians" are, in fact, outlaw white men who kill the Marshall so their leader can assume his identity. Now it's up to Ritter to figure out what's going on so he can bring the bad guys to justice. 1938. 55 minutes. B&W. TEXAS BAD MAN has Tom Mix undercover as a Texas Ranger trying to track down a gang of outlaws. Posing as an outlaw himself, Mix gets in with the gang only to discover that their leader is a respected member of the community.
