ALIEN JERKY CAFE

We found this place in Baker, California on our way to Vegas.  Pretty cool, really.  Don't know anything about how they got started.  If you go to their web site they tell you they'll be posting their history soon but, well, it's been over a month since I started checking.  My guess is that someone started selling jerky from a road side stand, then began adding alien stuff to attract customers from the nearby highway.  It worked with me.  I insisted we exit route 15 to check the place out.  (The wife was in a hurry to get to Vegas and, in any case, she's not a big alien jerky fan.)

Anyway, the place is pretty cool, as you can see.  And they do sell alien jerky -- all kinds -- and alien everything else: Olives, sauces, candy, t-shirts.  If you can put an alien label on it they probably have it.  See for yourself by checking out www.alienjerky.com  -- Bruce/Swapsale
